Mark Elliot (b. 1975) is an accomplished painter living in a small mountain town. In the 2000s, Elliot was poached to be a full-time instructor at the respected Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he taught representational and non-representational painting and printmaking.
Elliot’s work is respected and sought after for its sophisticated, yet exaggerated treatment to the figure. Elliot marries spontaneous naivety with academic command and technical license in his print media, original paintings and large format public installations.
